Northville, Mich. — March 19, 2007 — Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America today announced that its parent, Mitsubishi Electric Corp., has received DaimlerChrysler’s Global Supplier Award. The award recognizes suppliers from around the world that provide outstanding performance and product quality to multiple divisions of DaimlerChrysler.

Mitsubishi Electric supplies DaimlerChrysler with car radio, car navigation, and video entertainment systems as well as light duty starters and alternators for both its Chrysler Car Group and Mercedes Car Group; and heavy duty starters to the Freightliner and Sterling brands within DaimlerChrysler’s Truck Group.

Accepting the award on behalf of Mitsubishi Electric was Mike DeLano, executive vice president, Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America. “We are delighted to receive this award, which puts us at an elite level.
