MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC AUTOMATION NAMES SID KALANTAR VP OF INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SALES

Vernon Hills, Ill. – Nov. 2, 2004 -- Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc., has named Sid Kalantar as vice president of industrial automation sales. Kalantar will be responsible for North American IA sales activities for Mitsubishi, which makes and markets automation products and solutions for a broad range of industries.

“Sid is a seasoned professional whose background includes over 20 year in the industrial automation field” said Matt Lopinski, vice president of industrial automation sales and marketing, for Mitsubishi Electric Automation. “His management experience and reputation in the industry are valuable assets, and will serve us well as we expand our automation solutions activities in the US, Canada and Mexico.”

A graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Kalantar joins Mitsubishi Electric Automation after nearly 20 years at Omron Electronics.
