Mitsubishi Electric US is a recognized leader in the research, marketing, sales, engineering, and manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment used in information processing and communications, consumer electronics, industrial technology, energy, transportation and construction.
Mitsubishi Electric US products include high-definition televisions and monitors, projectors, printers, factory automation equipment, automotive equipment, escalators, elevators, telecommunications systems, heating and air conditioning units, semiconductor devices, large scale video displays for stadiums and arenas, solar panels and electric utility products. With nearly 3,700 employees in 30 locations throughout North America, sales in fiscal year 2006 were approximately $2.2 billion.
